Description
This kit represents the LYR’s standard loco coal wagons built between 1897 and 1902. 330 of these wagons were built in several batches some wagons were later converted to carry coke by adding raves. Most of these wagons lived long enough to get to the grouping with the wagons passing to the ownership of the LMS and in some cases wagons survived long enough to be withdrawn by British Railways in the 1950’s.
