PGR-61 North Eastern Railway/LNER/BR 11ton Coke Hopper

Description

The kit represents the NER Central Division’s standard coke wagons. The kit can build both the R2 (two rave) and R4 (3 rave) adaption of their standard P5 coal hopper. The R4 hoppers were either reduced in height and turned into R2s or sold off as private owner wagons for the north Durham coke traffic.
