Description

This kit represents the SDJR’s version of the standard Midland railway’s 3 plank drop-side wagon. These wagons were used for both engineers department as well as the traffic department. Those in the traffic department were split between the MR and LSWR in 1914 but those in use by the engineers department remained in their SDJR livery until 1930. Some of these wagons were still in-service until the 1950’s
