Description
The LNWR built 14,000 of these wagons between 1870 and 1889, when a slightly longer version was put into production. 53 were taken in to LMS ownership in 1923. However another 62 were up rated to 10tons and became diagram 6. With 52 of these wagons passing to the LMS in 1923.
